TYPE A: Needs of Personality
1. Certainty – feel of in control and to know what is coming next so feel the security.
2. Uncertainty and variety – the feeling to be surprised (e.g. either “real” surprise or problems). Problems are muscles in life; it helps us to grow (i.e. physically, emotionally, and mentally) to improve one's weakness.
3. Significance – The feeling of importance; to feel special, unique, or needed; a double-edge need in a sense that it may mislead a person and consume his/her soul. Living in abundance to feed one's need will just lead to poverty and misery.
4. Love and connection – Love is the oxygen of life; it is what we all want and need most. Loving completely makes us feel alive but when lost, pain takes over that people just settles with connection; connection the crumbles of love.
TYPE B: Needs of Spirit
5. Growth – Is needed to eliminate death and boredom. This gives us value to give.
6. Contribution – The secret to living is giving. Life is not about me, it’s about us. Life is about creating meaning; meaning comes from what you give and not what you get. What you get will never make you happy long term but who you become and what you contribute will.
